— Group overview

The origins of the Group were in business consultancy, which led to business management and then trading. These remain as the three core activities of the Group - on an international basis.  Moreover they have been integrated towards an unique approach for trading. Thus the chemical products listed in the "International Trade" section are mostly derived from sources where "Business Management" and "Consultancy & Advisory" services are also provided within the Group.   For example supplies of a special chemical may come from production where ......
  •  raw materials for production are procured,
  •  production equipment is purchased,
  •  quality controls are developed,
  •  packing and packaging are designed,
  •  logistics and shipping are organised,
  •  promotional material is designed,
  •  brands and logos owned,
  •  business is financed,
  •  customer service and support is provided,
  •  sales orders processed
  •  billing and collections managed ...
  •  through operations in several countries , and ..
  • .......all through the activities of companies within and supported by the Valetime Group.

    — The Team

    Quick Introduction

Valetime is based on individual specialist experience - particularly of finance and more importantly of large international company operations. For example, the partners, directors and consultants within Valetime include experience from senior appointments with professional advisors Price Waterhouse, Coopers & Lybrand, UBS Warburg and Bains Consulting and multi-nationals such as Xerox, Glaxo Smith Kline, ITT, STC and the Granada Group. Valetime has expanded to include directors and associates from outside its traditional UK base. For example, directors based in key areas of interest in Eastern Europe and Asia contribute particular industry experience and a wealth of knowledge on local business custom and practice.

    — — What We Like

Overtime this page will be built up with interesting and occasionally random bits of information.

    Football

The team at Valetime Group are fluent in football - we find football to be a common topic of conversation all over the world. It doesn't not matter if you do not share the same language, you can always talk about football! Unless you are in America, in which cause we'd be talking soccer! Valetime's UK operations are based in the North West of England. The North West is a hot spot of English football. There are 7 Premiership football clubs in the North West, namely Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Wigan Athletic (2008). There are also many other well known teams in the North West playing in lower division leagues. Some of these clubs may not be as famous today as their Premier League neighbours, but some once were. Accrington Stanley, Burnley and Preston North End may not have International status but, they are all founding members of the English Football League in 1888, as are with Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers. So, who do we support? With an Internationally renown "galatico" team on our doorstep, it would be hard for some of the Valetime team not to support Manchester United. Based at Old Trafford in Manchester, Manchester United is arguably the most popular football club in the world, with over 330 million supporters worldwide! The club is the second most successful in the history of English football and by far the most successful of recent times, having won 20 major honours since the start of Alex Ferguson's reign as manager in November 1986. However, we are not all Manchester United fans. Some of the Valetime team support Bolton Wanderers - another local Premiership football team. Founder members of the Football League, Bolton were a successful cup side in the 1920s, winning the FA Cup three times. The club won the cup a fourth time in 1958 thanks to two Nat Lofthouse goals. A leaner spell followed, reaching a nadir in 1987 when the club spent a season in the Fourth Division. The club regained top-flight status in 1995 after a 15 year absence; their current spell in the top division started in 2001. In 2005–06 they participated in European competition for the first time, reaching the last 32 of the UEFA Cup. Bolton qualified for the 2007–08 tournament by finishing 7th in the 2006–07 Premier League season and this time they managed to reach the last 16 of the competition. Bolton Wanderers moved to the Reebok Stadium in 1997. Their former home was Burnden Park.

Memo to Barry 27 October 2009

    SPURIOUS CONTENT ON OUR WEBSITE

We have discovered a spurious page on our Valetime Group International Web site (www.valetimegroup.com) which appears to be derived from extracts of information taken from other pages. Such extracts from genuine details have been compiled in such a way as to provide a message which is not only out of any context with our business and is misleading, but it contains what appears to be some form of attempt to discredit a former employee. The discovered message can no longer be accessed directly from our website but still appears via the Google search engine only. The extracts that form elements of the message seem to be taken from areas which we considered secure for password protected use by clients and customers. Thus by comparison with the spurious message we can determine sources within the text of details within CAS and BM operating divisions. Much is of technical accounting and tax issues and there might be some ulterior motive for an apparent concentration on these. However mention is made of Mr Tsupryk who, as former employee of Valetime Limited, was still listed in access files. I would emphasise that the spurious message is a complete fabrication but it does contain references to factual matters, company names and people who do exist. It is therefore an untruth built with some true details – all taken out of context. Both CAS and BM advise that there are clear errors in this compilation process which can be refuted. It is also curious to understand why a company would communicate via web pages as an alternative to e-mail. Overall it can only be concluded that this is a very elaborate hoax to discredit Mr Tsupryk for no reason known to us. The fact that this problem can only be accessed though a search of his name, rather than a conventional enquiry on our website, clearly suggests that purpose. We are working to discover the source of the problem. In short, someone was able to access an administrator account in the website’s content management system. This account was used to post the spurious content to our website. The content was then found by Google and made available in its search results. Google stored a copy of the content which meant that even when the content was removed from our site, it was site accessible in some form through Google. Our initial investigation shows that the hoax was aimed at exploiting a technicality of how Google works. The spurious page cannot be accessed from other search engines for example, Yahoo, Alta Vista etc. In due course I will let you have a more detailed report to explain that exploitation.

    ACTION

Several steps were undertaken when the spurious content was discovered in the “cached” copies of pages from the website. The website’s content database was checked to make sure that all spurious content was removed from the system. Additional security measures were put in place on the website, including a review of user accounts and increasing the complexity of passwords. The main focus was to fix the cached copy of the page on the Google system. A request was made to Google to remove the cached copy of the page from their system. This was performed approximately 4 hours after the initial request. However, a search with the relevant keywords still returned a link to the suspect page. But, there was only a link to the page; there was no option to see the cached copy. Following the link to the website returned a page without the spurious content. Changes were made to the website to encourage Google to re-index the site and update its records. Once its index records were updated, the Google search algorithm would not associate the keywords from the hoax with the content on our website. It would therefore not display the link to the suspect page. However, we were unable to determine a time frame for when Google would re-index the website. In order to expedite the process, a request was made to Google to delete its index records of the Valetime Group International website. This would ensure that no further reference could be found though a Google search. This was put into effect approximately 5 hours after the initial request.

    RELATED SITES

It would also appears that our non Valetime Group related sites and our local Valetime Group UK web site (http://www.valetimegroup.co.uk) have not been effected. In order to record a disclaimer this message has now been placed on our web site, on both International and UK versions, so that it might be available to any one who has searched for the keywords used in the spurious message. I will continue to monitor the Google search results returned for the keywords at issue, including copies held within Google cache. I will keep you updated on the situation. Best regards Paul Director Information Technology & Business Facilities Valetime Group

    Business Management

    Introduction

Valetime Group's business management division provides operational management and support to internationally based facilities & associated foreign enterprises through UK based companies. Such support includes the procurement of key raw materials and equipment, marketing, strategic planning, accounting, finance and legal services. Supported companies inevitably employ a Western style to their operations and gain advantage through adopting the propriety, accountability and respectability offered by operations from a long established and visibly regulated jurisdiction in Europe. The origins of the Valetime Group in the late 1980's were based on an interest in the emerging countries of Eastern Europe. More than a decade later the international operations - particularly financial matters - of many clients came under intense scrutiny. In additional there were seen to be many advantages for the future in a rapidly changing business World of adopting the propriety, accountability and respectability offered by operations from a long established and visibly regulated jurisdiction in Europe. Against this background many of the products featuring in International Trade emanate from companies supported through Business Management within the Valetime Group. Such companies are UK registered, are subject to similar audit and other compliance measures, banking controls, tax and legal requirements as are applied to any other UK company. Perhaps even more noticeably these supported companies inevitably employ a Western - and indeed Anglo-Saxon - style to their operations. Many believe that they enjoy distinct commercial advantages from this attribute.
